Thelma Aoyama: Soba ni iru ne (青山テルマ: そばにいるね)
This song also plays whenever I'm grocery shopping. I'm very curious about the singer. She went to an American international school (high school?) so I'm assuming she speaks English fluently. There are a number of live versions which are nice as well, and you can see SoulJa, her rapping male partner for this song.

I much prefer Utada Hikaru though. Much much!
Now, that is one catchy tune !!!I especially like the refrain of "Baby Boy...". Pretty and soft voice...pretty girl...nice backup singer...catchy, very catchy....good one but I agree, I prefer Utada.
Thanks, Sean!! :)
I agree that Utada has a much stronger voice and I can recognize that more talent is required for a song like "Flavor of Life," but "Soba ni iru ne" is just so darn catchy!
But, on the other hand, that other Utada song you posted, in my opinion, is not terrible, but not so great either!
