Indian Curry

To celebrate payday, we went to the new Indian curry restaurant between work and home for dinner (our second time there). I had some kind of spinach chicken curry and Yuu had Keema curry. Below is a cellphone photo of our meal.

Oishii ne ? I miss all that great food! I do love our foods here too BUT the choice there seems endless. I often read my several Japanese Cooking books but never follow up : (
Maybe Hitomi will eventually motivate me ( i hope).
Good talking to you and Yu tonight. Ureshii desu. Thanks for calling; it is very good to get your dad up at 9AM, our time, especially since by then he had had NINE hours of sleep.

Yes, I don't understand why there are so many choices of foods AND so many restaurants for each choice here in Japan. We don't have a lot in our location, but thinking of Yonago, there are tons and tons of restaurants there. Incredible!

I think Hitomi and Yuu and any other Japanese people you get into your kitchen could be valuable at helping you learn Japanese cooking. Much more than a cookbook. I'm amazed at how Yuu can throw a Japanese meal together with just a moment's thought. Of course, it's easier when the right ingredients are in your fridge, or a hop-skip-and-jump away at the grocery store.

It was fun talking to you both too! I'm guilty of 9 hours sleep last night too. I needed it though.
